News on the Giggidy Front!

Sooo, since our Christmas show at Naas Arts & Culture Centre was so loverly, we’ve decided to do it all again this April! There will be lots of new songs and new takes on old songs included in the set, and we hope it’ll be only deadly.

For those of you who haven’t been there, Naas Arts & Culture centre houses a gorgeous little ex-church which will be providing a cosy setting for our evening.

Support will be from Ciaran Dwyer aka Knoxville Morning.

Admission is €8. For a place on the cheaplist (entry only €5) just e-mail siveosmusic@gmail.com with “cheaplist” as the subject and your name in the message!

Pieta House Fundraiser

So our Christmas Concert in aid of Pieta House is getting very close and we’re all excira and delira! There has been quite a lot of confusion about where exactly the venue is, so I just wanted to post some directions for you.

There is a community centre beside the main church in Naas (which is called the Church of Our Lady and St David and is on the Sallins Road, near McDonald’s). In that community centre there is a lovely ex-church, and that’s where the music will be. If you just go in the main gates and walk past the big church, the building you’re looking for is straight ahead of you, to the right of the church. Hope that clears it up!

Christmas Concert

To follow on from the single that myself and the band recently released in aid of Pieta House Roscrea, we will be holding an acoustified Christmassy fundraising concert in my hometown of Naas on the 22nd of December! There will be a limited number of homemade singles available on the night too, with all of the profits raised going to the charity. And admission is only €5, sure tis a steal!

The Roscrea Joins Pieta project is currently in the process of raising funds to open a Pieta House centre for the local area, and hopefully with your help we can make a contribution to the cause.

For those of you who don’t know it, Naas Arts & Culture Centre houses a beautiful little church which will provide a nice cosy setting for our evening. And of course everyone is welcome to join us for hot ports afterwards :)

If I Had a Home to go to…

Well hello! Here is a brand new video of a new song that you might just hear if you come along to The Odessa on Thursday (except minus the mistakes as I probably won’t be getting distracted by people trying to rob our bags or injecting themselves with strange substances). New Video and Dates!

In keeping with the spooky time of year that it is, I was inspired to make this slightly Halloweeny video for my song Web! To go along with it I have also made the song available to download for free from my Bandcamp page until the 31st of October. Hope you like it :)

In other news, I am putting on a gig in The Odessa in Dublin on the 8th of November alongside my good friend Naoise Roo and the very talented Liza Flume Myself and the boyos had a really special night when we launched our first single there this time last year so we’re hoping to do it all again!  Do join us if you can and we’ll have a lovely old night.

If you can’t make that, I’m supporting The Unusual History of Ether in The Riverbank Theatre in Newbridge on the 1st of November which I’m delira about! I saw them live last year and have been listening to their EP ever since. I recommend you give them a listen! I’m also supporting The Riptide Movement in The Olympia Theatre on the 10th of November; I’ll be opening up the show with an acoustic set at 8pm and will also be joining the lads during  their set to sing backing vocals on their latest single.
