Home Sweet Home

So myself and Naoise Roo made it through our tour alive and in fact, even after a long and tiring week in one another’s company, we actually still quite like each other! We met sooo many lovely people along the way who really spoilt us rotten. We enjoyed playing the gigs and even got to play impromptu sets at the Lost in the Park festival in Bath before we left, so all in all a successful week! A completely bizarre and mental week, but an amazingly unique experience. Here’s a selection of photos from the trip:

Our next gig is this Friday in The Roisin Dubh as part of the Café Irlandaise tour. Café Irlandaise is a compilation album which was released a few months back and included my song Sunkissed, and this month some of the featured artists have organised a tour together. We are delira to be taking part in the Galway leg of it and will perform alongside Bona Fide Federation, In Valour and Sí.

Then the following week we will be doing a short acoustic tour with Diarmuid Cahill who has travelled home from New Zealand to play some shows in his home country. The tour will take in DeBarra’s in Clonakilty on Wednesday 22nd, a show on board The MV Cill Airne boat in Dublin on Friday 24th and Monroe’s in Galway on Sunday 26th. You can find all the information about the tour on the Facebook event page. My New Zealand-based cousin Anand Rose designed a lovely poster for it which I will upload soon…
